Honey Fried Plantains Recipe

I found this recipe on Clean Eats in the Zoo. I've only had plantain once and made the mistake of eating it raw like a regular banana. I'm so glad I found this recipe. OMG!! So. Good!

2 organic plantains
3 Tablespoons B0052AIF00 Dr Bronner's Virgin Coconut Oil



2-3 Tablespoons local raw honey
3/4 teaspoons B005P0SA16 Simply Organic Cinnamon Powder
pinch of salt
Cut the ends off the plantains, peel and slice into 1/4-inch thick 'coins'. 
Heat the oil in a large cast iron pan (I used #9); stir in the honey, cinnamon and salt. Add the plantains.  Cook on medium, stirring the plantains until coated and flipping occasionally to brown both sides.
Serve with more honey drizzled on top.
Serves 2.
