2 organic plantains
3 Tablespoons | Dr Bronner's Virgin Coconut Oil |
2-3 Tablespoons local raw honey
3/4 teaspoons | Simply Organic Cinnamon Powder |
Cut the ends off the plantains, peel and slice into 1/4-inch thick 'coins'.
Heat the oil in a large cast iron pan (I used #9); stir in the honey, cinnamon and salt. Add the plantains. Cook on medium, stirring the plantains until coated and flipping occasionally to brown both sides.
Serve with more honey drizzled on top.
Serves 2.
