I changed very little. I used Deglet Noor dates as I was out of Medjools. They are a slightly smaller date, so I used 12. I also added a couple of pine nuts to top each bar.
My mini cuisinart was too small for all of the ingredients. Since I really didn't want to use the big one, I just used my blender to mix all of the ingredients.
I used a loaf pan to freeze it.

Wrapped in parchment paper and ready to add to my travel lunches.This recipe made 6 bars. Each bar was about 1.5x4x.5 inches.
